Why should I learn self-hypnosis?

The conscious mind reasons “yes it would be nice to stop smoking/lose weight/exercise more/create better relationships – etc. etc.” – whilst the subconscious mind is governed more by feelings, emotions and habitual behaviors and thinks “no – it’s easier and safer to stick to the old way of life that I know and am used to.”
